Love the snow? nature? mountain? We do. It wasn’t hard to feel our innate craving for nature while we were trapped in Tokyo so we took the leap and started the Shakespeare Hotel in Hakuba. Our passion is to reconnect you with mother nature. We’re a family business with local ties because we want to stay true to why we fell in love with Hakuba: Wicked vibe of this mountainside community.
We are Hakuba people. Our hotel/front desk staffs are Hakuba locals who live here all year round so we can help you navigate this ski-crazy town. The restaurants, bars, shop, yoga studio, and massage service on premise are also all operated by Hakuba locals but no worries, we’re all bilinguals or more!
